Job Description
IT Support Engineer: Location - Austin, Texas
Remote/Hybrid

This Role in a Nutshell:
You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
How you will make a difference:
  • Laptop provisioning, maintenance and management,
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail & packages and maintain office equipment as well as manage vendors. Mostly in my absence or when the office is very busy.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures, including antivirus, software and firewalls.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for Global Facilities organization including invoice, vendor, and document management.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Organizing document signatures from members of the SLT including Printing documents, obtaining signatures, scanning documents.
  • Provide visitors and new hires passes, key fobs.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of IT inventory and assets.
  • Other duties as they may be assigned.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the proper functioning of networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure.
Requirements and skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows, UNIX /Linux based environments.
  • College Graduate with 0-3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
