Summary, Primary Duties, Skills And Experience

Job Summary:

This experienced professional will be a critical member of the clinical affairs team and will support several clinical research studies and other applications as well as managing global publication and presentation landscape to drive strategic progress.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support publication planning with customers and internally led publications.
• Manage the publication process for internal publications including writing text and gathering data/figures from other contributors.
• Manage conference scientific content.
• Track global publications and in progress publications.
• Create and provide technical documentation appropriate for clinical applications.
• Interact with partners to assure fluid processing of samples and data.
• Work with support and field application scientists to implement technology and support customers/partners.
• Communicate with customer and partners about Bionano technology.
• Support input from clinical studies to development teams for key requirements and sample management.
• Manage project portfolio across clinical sites in multiple clinical studies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience working with technical teams.
• Willing to travel approximately 10% of time.
• Experience with sharing information via tools like SharePoint, Wiki, JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
• Effective communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and is self-motivated.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Experience with clinical trials or studies relating to genomics.
• Experience with clinical cytogenetics or molecular genetics laboratories working under CLIA.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• At least 2 years post graduate work in clinical genomics (research and/or diagnostics).
• PhD degree in a science or engineering field preferred, Masters degree required.
