The Global Clinical Affairs and Global Regulatory Affairs functions provide leadership and direction on clinical and regulatory decisions related to the overall Leica Biosystems business strategy.
The Global Clinical & Regulatory Affairs Operations Coordinator is responsible for working across both departments with colleagues to support planning successful internal business meeting/events, coordinate with external suppliers, and provide support for other clinical or regulatory affairs initiatives.
This is a dynamic and growing work environment with competing priorities and deadline pressures, so the ideal candidate must be self-driven, flexible, patient, results-oriented, detail-oriented, well organized, and willing to tackle concurrent tasks as requested.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, be able to adapt to urgent issues and develop creative and strategic solutions to ensure success.
Major Responsibilities: Arranges event planning for internal meetings and Kaizen events, including ordering supplies, coordinating meals, arranging hotel room blocks, etc.
Collaborates with third party vendors/suppliers, customers, event team, participants, and stakeholders as required to assess needs, communicate event details, and ensure event success.
Assists clinical and regulatory teams with supplier payment management, including maintaining invoicing inbox, registrations of suppliers in AP system, oversees process to quality check invoices, and partners with accounts payable and receiving teams to process payments.
Liaises with clinical and regulatory associates and the Leica Biosystems legal department to support execution of legal agreements by leveraging the contract management system to enter supplier information and upload agreements.
Maintains organizational charts for both departments and maintain email distribution lists.
Supports expense reporting for leadership in GRA and GCA.
May participate in continuous improvement activities related to role including supplier payment management, external agreement process, etc.
