Job Description
Spotify Advertising Business Marketing team mission is to inspire advertisers and marketers to connect with billions of fans. The Sr Business Marketing Manager, Podcasts will lead all our marketing strategy and efforts aimed at deepening engagement with advertisers & agencies globally. We are looking for a seasoned marketer who is passionate about creativity, an excellent collaborator and effective operator This position reports to the Associate Director of Advertising Business Marketing, Global Brand.


What you'll do


  • Share insights from all markets to develop global programs, while also encouraging a spirit of test-and-learn
  • Be passionate about the Spotify Advertising platform; our data, ad products, podcasts, measurement and enabling success for our customers
  • Be a champion of podcast insights and strategies that accelerate growth globally
  • Serve as a Spotify Advertising leader and authority in internal, client specific, and industry-facing meetings and events.
  • Be able to flex, prioritize and tackle additional projects when there are shifts in the business
  • Build scalable programs that can be adapted to the needs of multiple markets and client segments
  • Anticipate coming changes in the advertising market and is a forward thinker in how we can lead the market
  • Lead and implement narratives, collateral, owned channel activation including events and owned/earned/paid efforts
  • Become a trusted leader within Spotify’s advertising business, partnering with the Product Marketing, Publisher Marketing, Sales leadership, Comms and other XFN teams
  • Grow demand for Spotify Advertising among marketers and advertisers through our podcast offering
  • Drive the positioning and go to market strategy for our Spotify Advertising podcast solution
  • Deliver new and strategically resonant messaging and sales materials, handling sophisticated internal processes and multiple partners to deliver deeper client engagement and significant business growth
  • Develop fresh B2B approaches that are rooted in insights, creativity and desire to breakthrough


Who you are


  • 7+ years of experience in marketing; agency, media, business or sales marketing experience a plus
  • Experience running international marketing teams to achieve growth in a variety of market contexts
  • Analytical, data-driven approach coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills - experience optimally crafting messaging and sales narratives as well as analyzing impact
  • Familiar, comfortable and able to work through change. Be an anchor for the XFN through change.
  • BA or BS degree
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative, effective marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on account based marketing
  • An effective communicator, collaborator and operator who can rally XFN teams to deliver
  • Ability to present expertly and positively influence senior executives within the company and with clients
  • Track record of partnering closely and effectively with a high-reaching Sales team


Where you'll be


  • Working hours? We operate within the EST time zone for collaboration.
  • While we will ask you to pop into the office from time to time, we are giving you the flexibility to work from home should you choose to do so.

The United States base range for this position is $111,667 - 159,523, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
