The Sales Analyst role provides timely, relevant and accurate sales reporting and analysis. This position analyzes key drivers and metrics to support decision-making and progress tracking. Sample projects range from operational including data review and cleanup, combining datasets, dashboard creation and maintenance and regular review of key performance metrics. The successful candidate will have a self-driven curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities for sales growth. Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action.



We’re excited to hire a new Sales Analyst I who can:

Provides timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis to support sales efforts

  • Maintains and creates dashboards for review of sales performance
  • Consolidates data and report actuals versus comparison periods and/or forecast
  • Perform ongoing sales performance analysis to support daily operations
  • Suggests and drives process improvements related to reporting and analysis for sales optimization
  • Delivers scheduled and ad hoc reporting needs of the sales department and company stakeholders


Supports the execution and delivery of the forecast

  • Provides ongoing analysis of current sales metrics vs expected
  • Assists in the execution and delivery of the sales forecast
  • Suggests and drives process improvements related to the forecasting process
  • Analyses key drivers of forecasted results vs prior periods and projections
  • Utilizes financial systems to consolidate and report on forecast performance



Performs ad hoc modeling and analysis

  • Monitors and reports relevant industry data and peer comparisons
  • Gathers, analyzes and summarizes data related to various business proposals
  • Performs complex data related analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficiencies
  • Finds new sources of data and uses data manipulation and analytic tools to execute analysis and presents scenario-based modeling for data driven decision making


Budget & Incentive Compensation Assistance and Modeling

  • Assists in budget preparation and modeling activities
  • Assists in developing and maintaining incentive compensation data and models to calculate bonus accruals and payments

  • Strong numerical abilities including experience with quantitative analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Experience with Salesforce (Preferred)

  • Ability to prioritize in a time-sensitive environment
