The Compensation Analyst likes to work in a fast paced, collaborative team. The Analyst performs a variety of compensation activities that require strong Excel skills such as data management, market monitoring, market pricing, job pricing, job classification, and other analytical projects that support the Company. As an Analyst you will consult with leaders and the Human Resource Business Partner across the organization on a variety of compensation related matters with a strong emphasis of providing the compensation reporting that is needed. The Compensation Analyst follows established guidelines but fulfills our compensation philosophy.
This is a remote position, working from home Central/East Coast, United States
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for Library maintenance. Must ensure consistent format, quality, and completeness. Every job title in the Company should have a corresponding job description.
- Conducts research to ensure compliance with federal and/or state mandates (Example: Minimum wage compliance). Leads minimum wage analysis and implementation.
- Evaluates new positions and provide recommendations to HR Business Partner.
- Acts as content provider backup for the MyAcosta Compensation site. Designates appropriate access levels for secured information.
- Responds to compensation surveys by deadlines.
- Assists in the administration of the Merit and Bonus processes.
- Analyzes compensation data; identifies trends or gaps and makes recommendations for resolution or improvement.
- Research incomplete information and provides Shared Services with appropriate information for processing.
- Updates and maintains the third-party compensation survey tool.
- Serves as first-level customer service contact for Compensation.
- Reviews and approves ad hoc bonuses per HR guidelines.
- Conducts analysis of compensation-related data across multiple systems to benchmark against industry practices and conducts cost/benefit analysis.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the job code table in the HRIS which includes quarterly audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years of Human Resources experience that demonstrates strong analysis or 2 years compensation analysis and administration experience
- Prefer experience in compensation analysis
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
- Handle several assignments simultaneously and comply with deadlines.
- Operate a calculator, computer, printer, copier, and shredder.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Create graphic presentations of data analysis.
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills (Excel skills must include working knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, and indexing)
