The Role
The Sales Execution Manager (SEM) will lead a team of Market Managers (MM) responsible for driving Congo Brands market share in National and Regional large format chains by maximizing our trade execution against sales programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Sales Team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures
  • Collaborate with Division Sales Managers and sales personnel to develop key distributor relationships and strategies to deliver required execution.
  • Routinely visit accounts to monitor adherence to merchandising/order replenishment standards and back-room management.
  • Lead team of Market Managers & Brand Execution Reps (BERs) toward maximizing the sale and distribution of all Company products in the assigned region through the establishment and appropriate execution of local and national sales programs.
  • Respond to and resolve customer merchandising issues.
  • Ensure team executes on designed programs within IRi reporting chains.
  • Monitor market execution and merchandising standards to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Set, communicate and manage performance expectations, monitor, and appraise employee job results and performance in order to develop, counsel or provide corrective action.
  • Use objective tools, information, and feedback to establish and track Region KPIs and results.
  • Develop and ensure the execution of national and regional account strategies for all Company products and achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives for all national and regional accounts and/or programs.
  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members (MMs & BERs)
Key Skills And Experience Required
  • Outstanding sales experience and track record in CPG industry (Beverage Preferred)
  • Distributor and Supplier experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • 3+ years’ experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate third party sales teams preferred
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
