Job Description

Internship Title: Retail Performance Intern, Travel Retail Americas

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE


  1. The Retail & Training team ensures the sell-out success of Dior in Travel Retail stores and the implementation of the Retail strategy and tools around the region. Dior Travel Retail Americas comprises three sub-regions (North America, Central, and South America) and sells through operators in most airports and duty-free shops across the continent.
  2. The Retail Performance intern will support the Retail Director in all tasks related to Retail and collaborate transversally with all departments of the organization accordingly. The position reports to the Retail & Training Director TR Americas, who is responsible for optimizing the customer journey and sell-out productivity in Key airports and defining and deploying the Education strategy in the region.
  3. The ideal candidate is an agile team player with robust communication skills, able to perform duties in different areas of work requiring a broad vision of the business, as well as strong analytical capabilities and multi-tasking.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


The Intern will be tasked with a variety of administrative, processes and tools transformation duties to assist the RETAIL DIRECTOR with day-to-day functions of the retail stores business. These include:

  1. Tools transformation duties to support Key airport processes and sell-out results. Coordination of departments involved for in-store tools set up and training organization accordingly.
  2. Retail-friendly dashboards building for field retail teams and creation of report models in collaboration with Controlling/Finance.
  3. Assist with on-demand reporting and presentations, consolidate relevant retail data, information, and pictures to illustrate retail main actions & results, and feedback/comments from field teams.
  4. Provide support on any task related to retail development initiatives: organization of workshops, trips, catering, training rooms, admin & printings, tools production, etc.
  5. Assist the Training Managers for on counter activations and Trade animation plans; liaise with Marketing/Trade and Commercial accordingly.
  6. Coordinate the mystery shopping project with Central Retail (if applicable) and support the internal communication and store visit results accordingly.
  7. Other duties as assigned depending on the retail projects defined and new Boutique openings.

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Minimum Requirements and Qualification

  1. Bachelor's Degree students in business or related fields are encouraged to apply (Junior or Senior).
  2. Bilingual English and Spanish; third language a plus (French, Portuguese, Chinese).
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, Spanish).
  4. Ability to interact at all levels and with all departments of the organization.
  5. Ability to multi-task throughout the workday.
  6. Experience working within computer databases and data management.
  7. Used to work in a multicultural environment.
  8. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

  1. The Intern will have ongoing responsibility to collaborate in producing regular reports to leadership, as required.
  2. Performs various administrative or data entry and organization tasks as company needs dictate.
