We are seeking a results-driven Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the Texas region. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability, building and managing high performing sales teams, and developing strategic sales plans. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional sales acumen, and a strong understanding of the labels, printing & packaging industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to a team of sales consultants to motivate and drive a high-performance sales culture. Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development for the team.
- Partner with senior leadership to set sales targets and quotas for the region.
- Implement and track robust sales performance metrics to ensure the region and team performance remains on-track.
- Develop and manage the regional sales budget. Monitor expenses, track ROI on sales initiatives, and optimize resource allocation for maximum impact.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the region.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Act as a point of escalation for major client concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies, alignment of goals, and effective resource utilization.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and ensure our company remains competitive within the industry.
Qualifications:
- Results-driven with a proven ability to drive revenue growth to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field.
- Travel: ~ 50%
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to drive informed decisions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with business objectives.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in the labels, printing & packaging industry, with a strong track record of leading a sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and results to various stakeholders.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
