About this Job
The Regional Sales Director works with the Head of Sales and Service, Chief Operating Officer, and internal teams across the organization. In this role, you will oversee business development for our orthodontic services across the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts territories. This includes developing, managing and supporting our regional sales and service team, comprised of orthodontic treatment coordinators and key account managers responsible for in-person new business development, client consultation, client management, and revenue generation.
What you'll be doing
- Evaluate performance of Key Account Managers and their accounts
- Identify hiring needs, then select and train new salespeople
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Create regional sales plans and quotas that align with business objectives
- Provide day-to-day support to Key Account Managers and Treatment Coordinators
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
- Participate in strategic decisions such as plans for expansion or acquisitions
- Evaluate performance of Treatment Coordinators and their consultations
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Report on regional sales results
What you'll bring
- Bachelor degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
- Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team
- Availability to travel as needed, up to 75% of the time
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Understanding of Sales and Operations
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, Territory Manager or similar senior sales role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs and ROI)
