The Regional Manager Project Delivery role will provide leadership and direction to a group of Project Managers who execute post-sale provisioning and implementation of Frontier’s strategic products/services to ensure Frontier meets its contractual requirements while delivering exceptional service levels to our commercial customers. Respond to their inquiries with respect to due dates, status and problem order resolution. The manager will ensure orders are received, distributed, processed, completed and billed to provide quality service to the customer. Communicate organizational/initiative goals and success criteria. Provide feedback and direction to project management team regarding employee development, engagement, professionalism on communication and business knowledge. Review project activity to meet delivery milestones as well as coordinate problem solving efforts with all departments with resource limitations. Continually review current processes to identify any potential areas for improvement.


The Regional manager will report to the Sr Director Program Delivery and Controls and is responsible over a portfolio of projects and project managers that entails a combination of planning and execution of activities related to delivery of projects and/or financial/budgeting activity for their teams. The Regional manager will drive the success of hundreds of projects within a given timeline and budget, creation and maintenance of status reports, proactively managing issues and risks, and will work with both internal and external partners. The position includes daily customer contact to communicate project status, works closely with their individual project managers to ensure implementation timeline and level of service are met or exceeded on each project.


Your expertise will lead through influence, sharing and implementing standard project and control methodologies while developing strong processes to deliver on the strategy, with the ultimate goal to drive project execution success, measurability, accelerate the solution implementation process, improve project management maturity, provide traceable key performance indices, all while enhancing seller and customer communication through the end-to-end process. The Manager must be an out of the box thinker who can transform solution implementations that are centered on a strong process flow methodology and project management principles.


The Manager of Project Delivery will bring an extensive background in project management processes, PMBOK standards, proven project success, and a collaborative way of working, that drives schedule, cost, risk and funding processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy through the entire lifecycle of each project. The Manager must have a firm foundation in PMBOK, while being an out of the box thinker, who can identify and apply new methods of approach, measurement, and collaborative ways of conducting daily project management that is always striving for improvements and efficiency opportunities. Embedded from Kick-off through Closeout, this role will have a keen ability to ensure project management drives regional, customer, and product portfolio visibility resulting in schedule baseline measurement and control, opportunity and threat impact analysis, functional task owner execution success, executing each project within total product lifecycle planned baseline durations, as well as constant visibility and measurement of schedule activity actuals, estimate to complete, estimate at complete, and accrual validated measurement is traceable. Developing a high-functioning and innovative team, priorities on efficiency and communication will be key, through the use of: tools, processes, team collaboration, technology, and the unique ability to combine waterfall, iterative, and scrum-based approaches, digital customer experience, and technology-based analytics for action-delivered results.


Lead the team: As the Manager you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver results while growing individual capabilities that meet each person’s career path. You will be responsible for creating an environment where people can be successful and include diverse thinking, inclusion, leveraging strengths and clearing a path for them to do their best work. A leader who provides guidance and assistance, while also stretching the team to new heights.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive, Measure, & Meet task-specific and total project duration for all projects.
  • Project Resolution, including internal/external working meetings for both Proactive and Active Risk Management
  • This position is the primary point of contact and has full responsibility for execution success on all projects in a region or specific to a program. Lead all efforts for implementation and escalations to meet the installation date(s) while keeping the customer and account representative in the loop of all communications.
  • Proactively work with the assigned Project manager and customer to communicate customer-requirements and upcoming milestones for implementation, deliveries, data, and testing
  • Work across Task Management System and Project Management System to understand the current state, ball in court, and report effectively on the project status, risks, and what it will take to complete successfully.
  • Excellent communicator who can work across multiple functional teams to gather information, remove roadblocks, and drive the project to success.
  • Support team development and growth.
  • Proactively schedule meetings, including defined agendas, schedule & lead status calls with internal operational departments, sales, customer, and other stakeholders, as required, with documented meeting notes and actions
  • Partner with other teams to ensure alignment and effective management of dependencies
  • Responsible for Project Management assignments, allocation, and utilization for determining best approach to entire portfolio.
  • Customer Obsessed, providing timely and weekly status on project forecast.
  • Present data and information clearly and concisely using: Power-Point, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Communicate and work closely with all internal departments as needed to escalate and to meet project timelines.
  • Leadership: Set strategy for a team of professionals and commands an execution strategy to meet business goals as a team. Builds a high-performance team; hires and retains the right talent in the right roles; sets goals, delegates work, holds reports accountable; develops and empowers direct reports to make decisions and to act.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Drives consistency and standardized phase-based execution processes through trigger-based process inputs, across the team and the broader project management organization.
  • Contributing and influencing organizational change management
  • Ensuring timely billing and closeout on all projects.
  • Report Project, Portfolio & Product Status to Management & Executives
  • Work closely with the Sr Director and the PMO team to improve and/or create project management: documentation, training, processes, references, desktop instructions, or work instructions as needed.
  • Lead team of high functioning project managers


Required Qualifications:


  • Experience in project management systems (MS Project, P6, Sitetracker, etc.)
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Construction Management.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership for all projects, OKRs, and deliverables responsible for.
  • Experience in project financials and activity budgeting
  • Experience in Risk Planning, Risk Management, Risk Mitigation and Risk-based Cost/Schedule Impact analysis and forecasting
  • A minimum of 5-7 years in Project Management, Controls, or Program Management
  • Independent judgment and mature decision-making skills to deal with programs that often have enterprise-wide scope and may have significant financial and compliance impacts.
  • Self-motivated with ability to create and drive objectively measured deliverables with team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Strong written, presentation, creative and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Achieved or Actively working to become a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) & with an advanced understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), techniques and Best Practices (ANSI-748, AACE, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge in analytics and reporting.
  • Expert-level attention to details and technicalities.
