Project/Operations Manager - Materials

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project/Operational Manager with a focus on Materials to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the materials aspect of various projects and ensuring smooth operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the telecommunications industry, possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to materials management.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, including inventory levels, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections of received materials to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Develop and implement effective materials management strategies, including inventory control, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Monitor and analyze materials usage, forecasting future needs and identifying potential risks or bottlenecks.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on materials-related activities, including cost analysis and performance metrics.
• Oversee and manage the materials planning and procurement processes for multiple projects.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• 3+ years of experience in materials management or procurement, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Proficiency in using materials management software and tools.
• Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of materials planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment, materials, and industry suppliers.
