VSPT is an affiliate company of CCU, one of the largest Chilean & South American multi-category beverage companies, and the Heineken Group. We are a Top 20 global wine producer (18 million cases per year), a leader in premium and sparkling wine sales in Chile, a Top 10 producer in the Argentinian domestic market, and owners of the acclaimed brand Gato Negro, the 6th most powerful wine brand in the World according to Wine Intelligence Brand Power Index 2021.
We are pioneers in Sustainability as a Strategic Objective and Corporate Value, leaders in renewable energy generation, guardians and promoters of Biodiversity, and supporters of Conscious Alcohol Consumption. We nurture a responsible design and eco-packaging culture; we are passionate about nature and our planet and committed to being Carbon Neutral across three scopes by 2040 (IWCA).
We are passionate about new trends, so we innovate, listening to our consumers worldwide through our brands. We boast world-class technology and processes and invest yearly in continuous improvements. Our vineyards exemplify the diversity of our country, with locations in the best regions across Chile and Argentina. VSPT will maintain our leadership in the South American wine industry through premiumization and organic and sustainable farming of wine grapes.
VSPT has a business model based on strategic partnerships and joint visions, and we promote mutually beneficial, long-term, and comprehensive relationships with clients and suppliers. Our colleagues are passionate about wine and are our organization’s main asset.
In 2021 we created VSPT USA to manage our business directly with distributors and strategic accounts. The portfolio includes three of South America’s most prestigious wineries: Vina San Pedro “1865” and “Icon” wines that show the diversity of Chile through multiple varietals from regions throughout Chile; Leyda, the most awarded Coastal Winery in Chile, and Graffigna, a leading producer of wines in Argentina with more than 150 years of history. We are also launching two brands that will appeal to consumers looking for a wine made from organically farmed grapes and one that targets the tattoo community. Gato Negro, a global value brand, is also in our US portfolio.
We are currently recruiting for a Region Director in the Northeast based in the New York Metro area. This is an opportunity to join a global supplier with a thriving history in the wine industry dating back to 1865. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and can collaborate, are flexible, and have at least five years of experience as a manager for a distributor or supplier in the wine industry.
Region Directors for VSPT are responsible for at least one primary market and several other states. Responsibilities include sales planning, pricing, budgets, inventory management, distributor management, and key account relationships. We aim to empower our managers to make decisions and manage their plans and budgets. They will have guidance to develop in the role and grow with the company.
The Region Directors report to the Vice President, National Sales. These roles will require overnight travel and a willingness to conduct consumer and trade events as needed.
Please do not reply if you do not live in the New York City area or if you do not have any experience in the Alcohol Beverage Industry.
