  • Responsible for creating a Culture of Accountability and demonstrating Full Spectrum Leadership and cultural imperatives on a daily basis.

  • Ensures certification of employees who perform certification-required tasks is kept current.
  • Leads the team priorities and daily operations for the Syracuse Materials organization, while interfacing with other business functions with primary focus on materials management, stockroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and manufacturing planning.
  • Accountable for team performance to targets in Cost, Quality, Schedule, 6S, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Act as Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) site coordinator, including ownership of related command media.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software (Project Schedule, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Qualified candidate much be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • The candidate shall possess and have demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.
  • Creative and innovative problem solver with proven ability to formulate business recommendations and implementable solutions to large-scale, complex issues.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • A working knowledge of Master Scheduling, Manufacturing Planning, Resource and Capacity Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, and Shop Floor metrics.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in leading process improvements utilizing lean / six sigma tools and processes.
  • Leadership role in a represented environment.
  • Knowledge/experience in work area flow optimization.
  • Ability to develop enduring relationships and interact with leaders at all levels.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
