Materials Operations Manager Jobs

3+ years of experience in materials management or procurement, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

Strong knowledge of materials planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.

Develop and implement effective materials management strategies, including inventory control, vendor management, and cost optimization.

Provide regular reports and updates to management on materials-related activities, including cost analysis and performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to materials management.

Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

Purchasing and supply management professional certification

Knowledge of supervisory work and leadership skills and techniques

Receive, bin, issue, ship, manage, and secure all warehouse materials

Perform material receiving in accordance with Breeze GMM, to ensure parts conform to purchase/repair orders requirements and contain the proper documentation

Manage the shelf-life program to ensure no materials are used in aircraft maintenance beyond their shelf life limits

Experience and proficiency in database integrity and administration with strong analytical and research skillset.

Ability to develop, implement, and ensure compliance to materials management procedures, policies, and processes.

Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to collaborate across functional areas and utilize an organizational network to achieve project goals.

Strong skills in initiative and problem solving to lead to successfully completing goals.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills as an IT Administrator, Engineer, or supply chain professional.

Ability to obtain or maintain a DOE Q clearance, which typically required U.S. citizenship.

Effectively manage overtime to business expectation working closely with Plant Finance and Leadership teams.

Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain.

Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense resources, and capital.

Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

Lead a team of four exempt process managers and 100 hourly Material/Shipping associates.
