We are seeking a Project Manager for the Marketing Operations team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to apply and develop their project management and process improvement skills within the marketing department. The ideal candidate will work cross functionally to ensure the smooth operation of marketing change requests, new initiatives, and growth efforts. This person must be a highly organized individual with meticulous attention to detail who can track multiple projects and competing priorities at once as well as facilitate communication between multiple functional areas within and outside of marketing.


Responsibilities Include


  • Maintain clear communication with execution teams as well as leadership across departments
  • Lead projects from contract signing through the full implementation of sites to support an accelerated online learning model
  • Manage the internal cross-functional AP teams to maintain timelines, assess risks of delays, and implement process improvements
  • Work closely with Sr. PM to implement process changes, ongoing projects, and impact/delay analysis
  • Document business process architecture efficiently and in ways that facilitate implementation of solutions
  • Lead projects to support internal teams and track timelines to ensure successful completion
  • Advise on improvement opportunities
  • Lead meetings and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Understand the cross-functional team dynamics required to complete projects
  • Manage the project launch process including coordinating of cross-functional teams for successful projects
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage the implementation project plan including implementation schedule, outstanding items, project risks and escalation processes


Requirements Include


  • Flexible, self-starter who is willing to take initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic business culture
  • Proven track record of strong presentation and communication skills
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting and/or training and development; system implementation, and requirements gathering is required
  • 4 years project management experience; preferably in online degree program management
  • Experience working in Higher Education and/or agency is desired
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and project teams simultaneously with a history of delivering on schedule and within budget
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Wrike and PowerPoint required, Visio preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with a cross functional team that is geographically dispersed and of different professional backgrounds (i.e. Technology teams, Creative groups, Agents, etc.)
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively on multiple large scale projects with staff at all levels
