Description

Essential Functions

Responsible for scope management, change management, implementation goals, project delivery, project budget as well as managing project resources and metrics for significant, organizational-wide, and Information Systems Division projects

Oversee and prioritize project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans, and communicate status to Senior Leadership, Directors, Managers, and Stakeholders

Work within and outside of the organization to overcome barriers, facilitate process design, and develop and implement solutions. Ensure project success and leads project teams through the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously to achieve outcomes within prescribed timeframes. Lead the implementation and operationalization of a project management office to define project standards and execute tasks associated with managing projects.

Closely monitors progress on projects including the development of prototypes and models, where appropriate. Based on the close monitoring, this role may negotiate modifications to original specifications or deadlines as technical guide, failures or other project issues arise

Work closely with the EVP of Health Services to support the day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management and HEDIS departments

Requirements

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience

2+ years of project management experience

Experience leading and managing others, setting expectations, and providing developmental feedback

Proven track record in implementation of system-wide projects, as well as experience implementing complex processes and solutions and multiple projects simultaneously

Effective communication and management skills to guide direct reports, influence stakeholders, and maintain positive relationships across cross-functional areas

Self-starter, initiator, with strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and consultative skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience

Preferred Skills

Experience in Healthcare (Hospital or Health Insurance), Insurance, Technology, or Financial Services working in areas of project management and implementation

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Associate in Project Management (APM)

Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)

Salary Description

$50,000 - $80,000
