Job Summary
The Services Portfolio & Innovation Team is looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented project/program manager to drive process and organizational cadence and efficiencies in portfolio transformation. The role requires ensuring streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the leadership team. This impactful position requires analytical skill, attention to detail, open communication, and the ability to work autonomously on multiple assigned projects.
As a critical member of the portfolio team, you will have responsibility to manage initiatives that ensure that delivery resources are fully prepared to deliver new services. This role requires close collaboration with services product managers and delivery leadership to ensure that the delivery resources are properly trained and have access to appropriate resources required to ensure a consistent customer experience. Project management and coordination efforts may span multiple teams and departments, primarily within Customer Success Delivery and Professional Services.
In this role, the project / program manager will partner with the multiple functional teams to manage stakeholder communication, team metrics, process improvements and other significant milestones.
Partner with portfolio leadership team to ensure consistent communication and ensuring timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives
Prepare and organize all aspects of assigned projects to include project plans, project progress, change management, resource alignment, reporting, conduct meetings and set expectations for project team
Produce initiative metric reports
Work proactively and collaboratively to solve problems (sometimes ambiguous problems)
Essential Functions:
Establish project definition, success criteria, and business tracking of portfolio initiatives with a focus on delivery readiness
Work closely with Services Product Managers to understand the required needs for planned and existing services
Scope new initiatives and identify required resources and dependencies
Create project plans
Monitor production and quality to stakeholder/sponsor standards
Identify and resolves issues and risks
Report on project progress, portfolios, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
Implement change practices
Manage resources to make sure schedule is on track
Conduct meetings and set expectations for the project team
Maintain budget
Create update reports and presentations
Present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
Provide guidance and supervision to project team members
Report on and responsible for project/program status reporting
Responsible for updates/meetings with project team and leadership team as required
Drive project reviews for management
* This is primarily a remote opportunity, with some on-site possibilities for collaboration and meetings if located near a NetApp office. Preferred locations are Research Triangle Park (RTP) NC, Wichita KS, Bentonville AR, and Dallas TX, but open to other locations in Eastern or Central time zones.
Job Requirements
Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior management
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
5+ years experience in program or project management
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience defining and executing against program or project requirements
Proven record to lead multi-functional teams through influence versus direct management
Demonstrates a strong bias to action; not afraid to tackle unknowns
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Strong spreadsheet capability and other project management applications as required for reporting, project tracking, project checklists etc.
Ability to work collaboratively with, and to lead and motivate other employees in a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined timelines.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-team relationships and people.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential.
Some Night and Early Morning meetings required to accommodate a globally diverse team
Experience creating executive-level presentations highly desirable
Experience doing analysis, finding the story in the data, and presenting it is highly desirable
Education
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $111,300 – $156,500. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
