Project Analyst Jobs

THOR Solutions is seeking a motivated Project Analyst to provide support services at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) in San Diego, CA. The candidate will provide diverse program management, acquisition management, and technical support services to NIWC’s Program and Project Management Competency initiative’s training, processes, and tools. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience obtained in a U.S Navy/DoD environment, and a high level of competency in MS Office products. SharePoint working knowledge is required.
Primary Responsibilities: The candidate’s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:

• Acquisition management
• Project knowledge management support
• Training development and PM topic instruction
• Agile project management support
• Data management, visualization, and analytical support
• Schedule production support

Job Details

• Worksite: Full time onsite at Naval Base Point Loma. May be limited hybrid flexibility as permitted by government customer.
• Schedule: California Alternate Work Week schedule. Mondays – Thursdays 9 hours daily, and Fridays alternate between 8 hours or 0 hours.
• Target Pay Range: $25.24 - $28.85/hour
• Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate must already possess an active or interim Secret (or above) clearance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Proficiency with common productivity software including Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution OR equivalent training from a U.S. Navy/DoD organization.
• At least two (2) years of recent, relevant experience providing diverse programmatic, administrative, and analytical support services.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira is highly preferred.
• Experience obtained in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
