Tiello has partnered with an established General Contractor in San Diego, CA on their search for a Project Coordinator to assist the project team in the successful completion of their current and upcoming projects.
Project Types: Multifamily, Podium, Mixed-Use, Affordable Housing
Job Title: Project Coordinator (2+ Years)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Requesting all Submittals, entering and submitting to the client and Architect. Managing the submittal log, follow up on submittals; track long-lead items
- Support the project team with all aspects
- Weekly meeting attendance, conference calls, or site visits as needed; Note-taking, preparing meeting minutes
- Assist the Project Manager in the bidding process of new projects, send out invitations to bid, gather all proposals
- Facilitate the closeout of projects in a timely manner
- Draft and log all RFI
- Ensuring subcontractor insurance is up to date
- Assist with the arrangement of meetings and conferences
- Prepare all work orders
- Support the Project Managers in all aspects of the project from start to finish
- Track all subcontractor documents
- Prepare owner change orders, subcontractor change orders, and manage change order log
- Assist with updating and uploading all project drawings, as long as distributing to subcontractors
- Communication with Clients, Subcontractors, Architect, and Engineers
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
- 2 years construction industry experience in an administrative role i.e. Project Coordinator, Project Assistant/Administrator or Contracts Administrator
- Positive Attitude, Highly Organized, and Strong Communicator
