Production Assistant, Music Admin (Part-Time)

Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Assistant with a passion for music and sports to join the NFL. As a Production Assistant in the music department you will be responsible for assisting the music team with reporting and administrative functions primarily focused on filing cue sheets for music uses in NFL Media productions.
Essential Functions

• Work closely with the Music Coordinator and other Production Assistants to track music cues across NFL Media platforms and various music administration tasks.
• Assist in the onboarding and ultimate implementation of new reporting software systems, while developing and creating new SOPs based on updated workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all production-related activities.
• Help to manage the music reporting schedule and ensure that all cue sheet submission deadlines are met.
• Prepare source music cues for computer entry by working with various production teams and content producers to ensure accurate use.
• Develop a strong understanding of the NFL Network schedule and cross-platform content offerings.
• Be a key contributor for the creation of cue sheets for reporting to performance rights organizations (PROs).

Required Education And Experience

• Previous experience in music administration, media production or a related field
• Proficient in MS office products such as: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with Filemaker Pro is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Preferred Education And Experience

• Post-secondary education in music or a related field
• Knowledge of music licensing and reporting process

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others in a team environment
