Art Hearts Fashion is the leading platform dedicated to bringing innovative designers and artists to the forefront of fashion week. Our coast-to-coast contemporary events bring both the most renowned designers, and the sharpest up-and-coming emerging designers, to the runway in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and beyond.

We would like to extend an invitation to students to volunteer for Los Angeles Swim Week June 2023. We are looking for students who would be interested in gaining firsthand industry experience alongside our production team. No prior fashion week experience is required.
Key tasks will be to organize and prepare for the show with administrative tasks, VIP guest experience, Designer assistants, Model director support, and more. We aim to find students who are passionate and willing to assist our team, making the show run smoothly. Students will experience working with our team leads assisting with multiple aspects of the event.
We would prefer students to be available for all four days of the shows. June 10-13th
Descriptions of Roles
FRONT OF HOUSE CHECK IN & BACKSTAGE CHECK IN: Verify ID & Vaccination status of guests, manage crowd in line, organize and assemble badges, Ticket scanning for guests, media, and VIP’s, Usher guest to designated seating. Escort designer to station, Obtain models signed release forms, Ensure team has badges, Verify approved entry passes for backstage
SEATING: Assist designer guests, VIP’s and celebrities during seating hour, usher guests to their proper rows depending on what their ticket/wristbands say (VIP, ROW 1-4, GA), Label chairs, Move stanchions between shows, vacuum runway, straighten chairs, clean seating areas between shows. Place designer gifts on Row 1
BACKSTAGE DRESSER: Assisting designers unpack, hang, and steam collections. Assist models with putting on outfits properly & with quick changes during runway show. Help place models in order of runway lineup, inform models of attitude/expression/walk designer wants, ensure models know how the designer wants the finale walk. Reset backstage, packing up collection, add shoes/accessories to looks, clean up & prepare designer station (clean tables/linen, clear racks, hangers, full steamer, sign with designer name and time) between each show
SOCIAL MEDIA: Assist Photographers with Instagram handles for models, VIP’s, capturing shots for Hair/Makeup, Model Casting, Sponsors, Vendors, and getting photographer back and forth for specific shots (content creation experience required)
SUPPORT: Lifting and moving heavy furniture or boxes. Assist our internal team with load outs, assembling equipment, backstage support tasks, and supplies/vendor replenishment or organization. Assist our internal team with moving and setup of all areas
