As a Product Manager, you will work as part of a product team responsible for shaping the future of Akamai's cloud products. The scale and distribution of Akamai's platform, combined with the focused, developer friendly cloud computing solutions proudly offered via our recent acquisition of Linode uniquely positions Akamai to provide a set of highly differentiated solutions in the compute market. In this role,

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with different teams to design, develop and manage the product development lifecycle of the Akamai Connected Cloud products
• Executing the product strategy, roadmap and delivering against the product plan.
• Analyzing operational metrics and trends to manage and maximize product KPIs, revenue and profitability
• Synthesizing feedback and prioritizing development.
• Building relationships with a cross-functional product teams including, sales, and marketing to launch and evangelize products.
• Gathering, documenting, and communicating business and technical requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience employing an iterative learning approach and adapting to emerging information.
• Experience developing or bringing to market, cloud infrastructure products and services
• Be able to research comparative services in the market and help identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Demonstrate an understanding of cloud technologies at a deep level.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Product Management principles and experience of the product life-cycle delivery process

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $120,917 - $193,746/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
