Job Description

Onbe, a fast-growing FinTech, bringing innovation to a rapidly growing global marketplace, stands for “on behalf.” Because that’s exactly how we work: on behalf of our clients, as their comprehensive payments partner. We transform the way payments are imagined — as an opportunity for innovation, a source of insight to customers, and a way to connect with partners around the globe!

Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Product Owner to join our growing Product Development team to aid us in completing our product strategies! The Product Owner will be responsible for writing stories, coordinating with the development team to deliver an enhanced recipient site, and maintaining subject matter expertise and documentation for their respective focus areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in high-impact discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders.
  • They will work with the development team, UIUX, marketing, and others to redesign and modernize our recipient-facing site.
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing partners' requirements.
  • Maintain documentation (workflow models, business rules, wireframes, etc.) on features and capabilities for consumption by internal and external users.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and collaborators to capture feedback and requirements.
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Work in an agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline achievements and results, and see opportunities and risks.
  • Participate in the product functional design process while building an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
  • Collaborate with senior Product Owner to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Customer-first, user experience mentality.
  • Experience with end-to-end data and intelligence solutions
  • Experience or insight in prototyping, iterative development, and application of Agile principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills, able to lead multiple tasks optimally.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of technology, product management, or product development experience.

Digital Literacy:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications Excel and Word.
  • Confluence, JIRA, and Visio experience preferred.

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $67,635 to $90,180, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. Our competitive benefits includes medical, dental, vision, wellness, 401(k) matching, unlimited PTO, work from anywhere, generous parental leave, and more! Our job titles may span more than one career level. All candidates are encouraged to apply.
