Position Summary
A Day in the Life
- Ensures the backlog is aligned with the needs of customers and stakeholders, informed by research and data.
- Acts as a good business partner to Sales, Services, and Support to ensure the needs of our customers are properly addressed. Communicates frequently and effectively.
- Represents development team in quarterly SAFe® Program Increment (PI) events, such as Business Kickoff, Risk Mitigation and Confidence Vote, and Business Plan Review. Facilitates team-specific Business Value meetings and Breakout Sessions.
- Participates in daily, weekly, and bi-weekly SAFe® Scrum team events, including Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, Iteration Retrospective, Backlog Refinement, and Team Sync.
- Responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the development team. Actively mitigates impediments to successful completion of objectives.
- Partners with the Product Manager to drive strategic objectives in alignment with the Product roadmap and vision. Supports the Product Manager in key projects, discovery activities, and cross-portfolio initiatives.
- Writes development stories with clear requirements, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate ideas and concepts.

- Demonstrated ability to learn and understand basic software applications
- Familiarity and experience with Agile Methodology
- Strong relationship skills; the ability to work cross-functionally across teams and departments
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with keen ability to deal with detailed, and sometimes ambiguous, information; the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
- Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel,
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Background in education technology a plus, but not required
- Other Skills:
- Familiarity and experience with Agile Methodology
- Experience working within Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) a plus, but not required
- Impressive communication skills; the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with multiple audiences in verbal and written form. Feels comfortable speaking and presenting in a group setting
- High level of organization; the ability to manage multiple initiatives and modes of communication simultaneously
