Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Product Manager Intern with a deep interest in sports to join our team. As a Product Manager Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our sports chat app, ensuring that it meets the needs and expectations of our target audience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and marketing specialists, to drive the product roadmap and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research and analysis to identify key trends, user needs, and competitor insights in the sports chat app space.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, features, and enhancements.
3. Assist in creating and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and vision for the sports chat app.
4. Work closely with the design team to develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs that align with user needs and preferences.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely and successful product development, testing, and deployment.
6. Gather user feedback and conduct user testing to validate product concepts and identify areas for improvement.
7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics data to measure the success of product features and inform future iterations.
8. Support the marketing team in developing product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to sports chat apps.
10. Assist in other product management tasks as needed and contribute to the overall success of the product and company.

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in business, computer science, product management, or a related field.
2. Strong passion for sports, with a deep understanding of different sports, teams, and leagues.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed product decisions.
5. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
6. Familiarity with product management methodologies and tools is a plus.
7. Previous experience with sports-related projects, apps, or platforms is a plus.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a 12 week internship position. This internship will be unpaid for the time being.
