Position Summary:
Global Credit's Operations Team supports the operational needs of all strategies across the credit platform. The Private Credit Operations team is focused on our Middle Market, Opportunistic, Structured Solutions, Insurance Solutions, and Real Assets business lines. The team works closely with investment professionals, finance, legal, investor relations, and a variety of external counterparts on new fund launches, deal execution, and ongoing asset operations.
The Head of Private Credit Operations will report directly to the Head of Operations and oversee a growing team of operations professionals dedicated to the Private Credit strategies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Deal Execution process and settlements across all Private Credit strategies, including allocation of deals, co-investment processes, and funding mechanics.
- Partner with Liability Management and Portfolio Management to structure and close Leverage Facilities ensuring that all operational needs are contemplated.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investment professionals of all levels, borrowers, sponsors, and service providers.
- Oversight of cash and position reconciliation processes on a daily basis
- Expand Global Credit's treasury management capabilities by centralizing and standardizing cash management and other treasury functions
- Lead the annual audit process, together with the Fund CFOs, for all private credit funds
- Respond to ODD Questionnaires and participate in due diligence sessions with existing and prospective investors and consultants
- Process Development: Continue to innovate and expand our operational capabilities to enhance current state and build for the future. This includes strategic technology initiatives, outsourcing opportunities, and process redesign.
- Facilitate new fund and client onboarding by participating in working groups, working with counsel, and creating proper data flows to all relevant parties.
- Review and update control narratives, and conduct walkthroughs for the SOC1, SOX, and Internal Audit reviews
- Work closely with the Head of Data Management to ensure accurate and complete data is captured in internal systems
- Team Leadership and Development: providing strong leadership and guidance to the growing team of operations professionals. The right candidate will be a culture carrier within the firm, advocate for the team, and build upon the strong team dynamics that exist today.
- Develop and design reporting for internal and external consumption
Requirements:
Education & Certificates
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required
- Masters Degree, CFA, or CPA preferred
Professional Experience
- Proven track record of managing teams and processes
- 12+ years of credit operations experience required
- Private Credit experience strongly preferred
- Experience with project management and strategic planning

Benefits/Compensation:
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary for this role is $250,000.
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
