OpenYield is on a mission to modernize bond investing for the retail investor. We are partnering with broker-dealers, advisors and fintech to develop the next generation bond investing marketplace. Our vision is to make purchasing individual bonds as straightforward as buying stocks.

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Trade Operations to join our team and take charge of our platform operations. The Head of Operations will be responsible for all aspect of trade operations and broad business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with broker-dealers, advisors, fintechs, and other stakeholders to maximize their experience with OpenYield.
• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the trading platform, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of all trade processes such as matching, reporting and clearing
• Collaborate with the technology team to develop and enhance the trading platform, improving functionality and user experience.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational and market risks.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the trading platform.
• Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory changes to ensure OpenYield remains competitive and compliant.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the trade operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement controls and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in trading operations with a focus on fixed income
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Series 7, 24 and 63
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Finance or related field, MBA a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to develop and implement effective procedures and policies.
• Proficiency in the use of trading platforms and related technologies.
• Deep understanding of the bond market, trade processes, and regulatory landscape.
• Strong analytical skills and technical fluency with data
• Track record for automation and process improvement

In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $185,000. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
