Expected pay range: $80,000-$95,000/salary; $350-$450 day rate when traveling
The main role of the Operations Equipment Program Advisor will be to advise project management and operations of current inhouse self-performance of temporary structures and ancillary components; collaborate in execution plans, and lead execution during event mobilization. This role will rely heavily on influencing and collaboration skills based in listening as well as team-based leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s business in order to build and maintain relationships between departments
- Ability to drive forward a strategic goal and produce results within a reasonable time frame
- Ability to strategically plan long term efficiencies on potentially long-term temporary job sites
- Develop deep understanding of current inventory, personnel skillsets, and vendor service partners
- Lead execution of plans to add self-performed capabilities to Operations
- Lead planning to add self-performed capabilities to Operations
- Advise Operations on additional self-performed capabilities that can be utilized with current inventory and skill sets
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s mission, culture, and values
- Passion for constant innovation; research and present equipment, capabilities, and skills to enhance operations; lead selected implementations
- Advise Operations on additional self-performed capabilities that can be utilized with adjustments/additions to inventory and skill sets
- Develop deep relationships with Field Operations and Logistics; and knowledge of current self-performing capabilities

Skills and Specifications
- Base knowledge of relevant base camp equipment to include containerized and trailer versions of showers, restrooms, dining facilities, kitchens, laundry facilities
- Excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented
- Expert tent knowledge must be extensive in clear span tent structures.
- Detailed knowledge of soft-sided and hard-sided temporary facilities including construction and components
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills including tact, diplomacy, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal; the ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others in a remote environment
- Expert knowledge of tenting, flooring, power generation and HVAC systems.
- A self-starter
- Strong history in team-based leadership, particularly the ability to lead and collaborate with a team that doesn’t directly report to you
Supervisory Responsibility
This role will have direct reports and supervisory responsibility
Work Environment
This job operates in workshop, office, facility, and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other presentation materials. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, and stand. Occasional lifting to 25 lbs. may occur.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time remote position. Office hours vary and should be coordinated with supervisor. Typical company hours are M-F 8AM- 5PM EST but may vary depending on contracts. Deployed Resources services customers 24/7/365.
Travel
50-70% Travel is necessary to assess sites and implement programs; locations based on contracts. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 15+ years’ experience in temporary facilities
- 7+ years in team leadership
- Higher education (associates or bachelor's degree) preferred, high school diploma or GED required
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
