We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Travel Agent/Advisor to join our team and become a crucial element in our continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of corporate travel experience and be familiar with both domestic and foreign destinations. We are looking for a qualified agent that is proficient in Sabre The right individual will be motivated, a self-starter, and someone looking to advance their career in this industry. We are a fast paced, energetic and quickly growing company, but we also like to enjoy our days and make work fun!


Responsibilities:


  • Understanding of travel requirements, i.e. visas, passports and immunization requirements; excellent communication skills and follow through required to advise clients of those requirements.
  • Adheres to standards in delivering customer service including telephone etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedures.
  • Follows company procedures, guidelines and standards in building PNRs, utilization of tools, productivity, the accuracy of work, and attendance.
  • Proven expertise in creating travel arrangements including air, hotel and ground transportation.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding all pricing rules, exchange transactions, and procedures.
  • Utilize preferred vendors to maximize profit, and ensures compliance with the clients’ travel policy.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Operate with discretion within well-defined policy, regular managerial review.
  • Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in the travel industry and office procedures.


Requirements


  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated successful consultant experience within the travel industry
  • Prior corporate travel experience is required, Sabre experience is preferred
