Job Description
What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced Legal Onboarding Lead with a legal background to join the team. This role will be part of the customer advocacy team to help us deliver the Raise Equity clinic and legal services to our clients and provide their cap table onboarding support onto the Raise platform and other customer support inquiries.
You’ll collaborate with sales, the Legal Engineer, the Corporate Finance Analyst, and customer success to deliver a better understanding of equity management, the Raise Equity Clinic product, and the fundraising process for our customers.

What does the job involve
Delivery of Equity Clinic services to customers

Improve the service and quality of the Raise Equity Clinic service delivery

Manage the assigned service delivery tasks assigned on the Jira project boards and keep the progress of each task up to date and share updates on the weekly service delivery check-in meetings

Review Equity clinic form submissions from clients

Prepare Equity Clinic reports

Participate in meetings with clients to help answer their questions about the Raise Equity Clinic services and take them through the Equity Clinic report done for them

Reviewing client’s shared legal documents and based on their Equity scorecard, advising clients on the recommended next steps

Support in upselling to Raise Equity clients the other Raise services and products

Support in the Cap table onboarding of clients onto the Raise platform

Responding to onboarding support inquiries from customers on the platform

Participate in Monday weekly meetings with the Customer Advocacy team; sharing weekly progress of tasks worked on in the previous week and updates on the planned tasks of the coming week

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Preferably a candidate having a Bachelor’s degree in law

Experience working with early startups and understanding the fundraising processes

Experience in onboarding roles

Experience and/or understanding of Cap table managed processes

The ability to construct well written client reports

Confidentiality and a values-based work ethic

People and customer service skills

Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

An ability to work well with minimal supervision, and adaptability

Exceptional presentation, research, and verbal and written communication

Strong legal, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with working for a SaaS company

The ability to present findings in a polished way
