MAXAM Tire North America – Administrative Office Assistant


Position Report – President of Maxam Tire

Position will be located full time in Maxam North America headquarters in Danvers, MA.

Summary/Objective

MAXAM Tire, a subsidiary of the Sailun Group, is a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty off-the-road tires. The Administrative Office Assistant is responsible for supporting our business strategy centered around our core vision of being a “Business Solutions Provider” and our mission of “Ensuring the Quality of the Customer Experience”. Key focus of this position will be to provide support to multiple departments including the executive team members.

Essential Functions

  • Manage inbound and outbound UPS, FedEx, DHL shipments for departments
  • Maintain Regulatory postings and Safety Meeting Minutes
  • Maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as required
  • Assist team members or departments whenever there is an opportunity
  • Assist and process online E-Commerce orders for Customer Service in the Maxam B2B environment
  • Perform additional administrative duties for senior managers as required
  • Oversee clerical tasks such as sorting, scanning and mail delivery
  • Welcoming clients and visitors to the office
  • Rerouting of Maxam Checks delivered to office to Credit & Finance
  • Maintain Marketing Inventory at Danvers location
  • Schedule and plan company functions such as luncheons, special events, dinner meeting schedules
  • Assist with travel/transportation arrangements for visiting employees, guests, customers
  • Running local errands as part of office supply replenishment

Skills and Qualifications

Must be able to work effectively in a team-based collaborative environment. Demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities with a positive self-starter attitude. Excellent planning and project management skills. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally by phone, in writing, electronically and in person.

Proficiency required with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma with 2+ years’ experience in administrative and office support role

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports
