National Program & Event Director

Our client is a nationally known and revered nonprofit organization that partners with high-profile entities across the nation (including the federal government) to implement a wide range of activities intended to promote national unity and inspire millions of Americans to engage in volunteerism, charitable service, and good deeds. We’re looking for an events and marketing guru with 10+ years of leadership experience who can strategically and tactically manage the extensive details for the organization’s most important national programs and serve as a critical program ambassador. The best candidates for this mission-driven opportunity will work with a team of other talented professionals and contractors to strategize, plan and manage signature volunteer service events in cities across the nation, and also coordinate other programs. Foundational career experience in public relations is preferred. For purposes of the role, being based in Washington DC is helpful, but not required, and otherwise is a remote opportunity.
