Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to coach, develop, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales team productivity, sales effectiveness, forecasting, CRM reporting, training, deal strategy and execution. This leader will partner with sellers to develop processes and drive strategies to consistently open, advance, and close sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Talent Management and Leadership:
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Recruit, hire, onboard and train new sales team members
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement and suggestive corrective actions as needed
  • Coach, develop, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Reinforce the Provation CARES values as a leader and within the team of direct reports
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
  • Track individual and team seller KPIs
  • Develop and provide detailed and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
Sales Funnel and Pipeline Management:
  • Manage sales pipeline, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance with the sales process
  • Identify key sales opportunities and partner with sellers to develop actionable sales strategies and execution plans
  • Manage each sales territory’s performance
Sales Process Management and Optimization:
  • Engage, interact, and build relationships with strategic prospects and customers
  • Partner with sellers on key sales opportunities to create strategies to execute and win
  • Train, coach, and mentor sellers on established sales milestone process with focus on Voice of Customer
  • Leverage deep industry/product knowledge and sales data to assess current standard work, identify opportunities for improvement, share feedback, and implement change
  • Execute on established leader standard work and drive compliance and discipline of seller standard work
Sales Automation and CRM Management:
  • Conduct CRM reporting and analysis consistent with sales organization KPIs and objectives.
  • Enforce team compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data
Other:
  • The individual in this role may be exposed to private and confidential information, including personal health information, and is expected to adhere to company policies and all relevant laws regarding handling of such information.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • BA or BS Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, partner, mentor, and coach a team to achieve sales targets
  • Strong business acumen with proven expertise in sales processes and strategies to win
  • 5+ years of Sales experience with consistent measurable sales performance within Healthcare IT
  • 3+ years of Sales Management experience with consistent measurable success
  • Proven management experience with strong leadership and talent management skills
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%, as needed
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Proven ability to develop strong, positive, and collaborative relationships across all functional areas and levels within the organization

The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $140,000-$300,000.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
