Sr. Sales Manager Overview


The Senior Sales Manager promotes and sells the full range of EES services to prospects and existing clients by developing and executing successful sales strategies with the support of a talented creative team who help dream up amazing experiences to create winning proposals. The Senior Sales Manager also plays a key role in client relationship from inception to post event follow-up to ensure we’ve exceeded all expectations.



Sr. Sales Manager Qualifications


  • Tech-savvy with hands on knowledge of Canva and Google Drive with Viper and NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Proven track record selling $4M+ to C-Suite with established network.
  • Must reside in Greater Nashville or plan to relocate (assistance available) with the ability to travel approximately 25%.
  • Solid understanding of meeting planning (hotel contracting, how to layout meeting space, manage customer budget, run production etc.) so you can effectively sell the full range of EES events.
  • Skilled at managing multiple proposals and contracts simultaneously.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills that understands how to organize information for ease of understanding for clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience selling meeting planning (CMP or DMCP a plus) with prior operations experience ideal.
  • A strong listener, negotiator, and presenter that’s equally skilled fostering an atmosphere of teamwork with operations while building the reputation of EES.



Sr. Sales Manager Key Functions


  • Employ effective strategies to generate sales opportunities and achieve objectives.
  • Use a creative, consultative approach to go further than the competition in understanding client’s goals and deliver a winning solution that exceeds all expectations.
  • Continue high-level personal contact with clients after the sale to support operations and ensure client expectations are exceeded to promote growth.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the company by establishing and maintaining strong community and vendor relations as part of an overall strategy.
  • Help continually update client information in Viper by recording all activity including requests, notes, changes, additions, and deletions.
