Sr. Event Program Manager

Our Client: Is an American multi-stakeholder group and nonprofit organization that helps to ensure that the Internet is stable and secure by maintaining databases.

Duration: 6 months (contract to hire)

Pay: $45-$50/hr on a W2 (DOE)

Fully Remote

Full Time Hours

**Travel is very limited/very occasional but it will be global

Our nonprofit client is looking for an Event Program Manager focused on coordination and outreach that will oversee the processes for their big Flagship Event that is taking place globally. This role will oversee email coordination across 50-60 teams globally. You will not need to manage this event, just oversee the Event Teams doing the end to end management for the Flagship Event across the globe. You will also partner with local teams which include trainers and volunteers. Writing and communicating to global audiences will be a big part of the role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Email coordination across global teams
• Attend cross-functional meetings to provide status updates
• Partner with local teams to ensure event is on track
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and global audiences

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience in event management or event program management in nonprofit or public sector
• Experience with stakeholder management
• Experience in working with global teams or overseeing global events
