Position Summary:

We are actively seeking an experienced Music Entertainment Transactions Paralegal with attention to detail. As an Entertainment Paralegal, you will be working with Artist Agency Contracts, Deposits, Booking Agreements, and other sensitive documents.

• Work closely with outside legal counsel as necessary;
• Acts as liaison between colleagues & clients to facilitate work & accomplish objectives in a collaborative effort;
• Candidate will have a current paralegal certificate.
• Law firm experience and/or corporate in-house legal experience highly preferred;
• Work closely with the Head of Music department to ensure agreements and contracts are executed in a timely manner;
• Review and process venue, artist, and co-promoter contracts for signature, order insurance, fulfill and follow up on deadlines. Confirm that all contracts match the information in the booking system for artist agreements.;
• Provide show settler all needed information for settlement seven (7) days prior to the concert in one email that includes artist contracts, deal sheet, deposit info, tax forms, COI, and anything else deemed relevant;
• Organize and catalog current and recent show files in conjunction with accounting and maintain show files in booking software;
• Minimum of 3.5+ years of experience, music/legal industry required.
• Review, analyze, and facilitate execution of co-promotion agreements between partner venues;
• Provide general administrative support and perform diversified duties; prioritize, and manage projects with minimal supervision;
• Provide a weekly update on the contracts and other work completed that week and report what work/contracts need to be completed for the following week;
• Process wire deposit payments for artists;
• Respond to internal and external requests for information and follows through to ensure requested actions are taken or completed;
• Must be based in Los Angeles and be able to commute to Beverly Hills or a similarly situated area;
• Implement new contract processes with local partners at owned and operated venues;

Compensation/Salary Range | Health Benefits:
