Summary
As the VRTCL Music Manager, you'll be the driving force behind leveraging the power of music and sounds to create viral and engaging campaigns for our clients. Your main goal will be to curate, strategize, and optimize sound content to capture the attention of TikTok users, spark trends, and elevate our clients' brands to new heights.
Responsibilities
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze campaign performance data, including engagement metrics and audience responses to different sounds, to optimize future campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with artists, record labels, and internal teams to align marketing objectives and ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging content, including short-form videos, social media posts, and other multimedia assets.
  • Collaborate with Artists: Build strong relationships with musicians, artists, and music labels to secure exclusive sounds and foster unique partnerships for our clients.
  • Platform Expertise: Stay updated on the latest TikTok sound-related features, algorithm changes, and best practices to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage and analyze social media campaigns, ensuring maximum reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive music marketing strategies, considering the unique attributes of each client's brand and target audience.
  • Trendsetting: Stay at the forefront of TikTok trends and challenges, identifying emerging sounds that have the potential to go viral and integrating them into our campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and social media platforms to optimize campaign performance.
  • Creative Campaigns: Collaborate closely with team members to ideate and execute music-driven campaigns that amplify brand awareness and user engagement on TikTok.
  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers, music bloggers, and relevant media outlets to amplify the exposure of our clients' music and brands.
Qualifications
  • A love for all things music and TikTok, with an ear for unique and engaging sound content.
  • A creative and innovative mindset with the ability to integrate sounds seamlessly into campaigns to drive user participation and brand recognition.
  • Data-driven and analytical, using insights to make informed decisions and optimize sound campaigns for maximum impact.
  • In-depth knowledge of TikTok as a platform, including sound trends, user behavior, and the ability to spot viral sounds before they explode.
  • Proven experience in music management, sound curation, or related roles within the music industry or digital marketing.
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple TikTok campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with artists, music labels, and influencers.
