Job Description

An AmLaw 200 defense litigation law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Toxic Tort Paralegal to join their expanding team!


Qualifications

  • 2+ years toxic tort litigation paralegal experience, including asbestos, talc, benzene, mold, or similar cases
  • Paralegal Certificate is a plus
  • Experience with e-discovery and using Relativity or other document review platforms is a plus
  • B.A. degree
  • Experience preparing pleadings and discovery requests/responses, summarizing medical, employment, and military records, and supporting trial


Responsibilities

  • Search and retrieve information from court-related databases
  • Assemble chronologies
  • Prepare summary of transcripts
  • Prepare materials needed for expert witness review
  • Prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, analyze medical records, and trial preparation experience a plus
  • Contact outside sources to obtain public information and review and analyze
  • Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants


Compensation: $65,000-$100,000, plus
