How You Can Make a Difference


The Manager, Talent Operations will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing various aspects of the talent lifecycle in support of HealthEquity’s People strategy. Responsible for maintaining and optimizing platforms and tools used for recruiting, sourcing and onboarding to support overall experience and compliance. Oversees design and implementation of pipeline development strategies including team member value proposition, talent brand initiatives and internship programs. Provides leadership and coaching to team members on the talent acquisition team.


What you’ll be doing


  • Lead all aspects of background check and I9/Everify process, maintaining compliance with company and legal requirements. Partner with external vendors to conduct screenings and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Manage and optimize the HealthEquity’s recruitment and onboarding tools and platform to ensure an engaging candidate and hiring manager experience, build efficiencies in the workflow and maintain compliance.
  • Responsible for the design and execution of HealthEquity’s internship program. Collaborate with leadership and People Business Partners to identify internship needs and intern projects. Provide support and guidance throughout the program.
  • Establish relationships with university and college partners to build strong partnerships and collaborative strategies.
  • Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; mentoring and performance management; and annual compensation reviews recommendations.
  • Create and implement the team member value proposition that supports internal engagement and external talent attraction.
  • Develop, implement, and measure talent branding initiatives that supports critical pipeline development, diversity strategies and reflects the team member value proposition.
  • Establish and drive recruitment processes and programs that support our diversity and inclusion initiatives.
What you will need to be successful


  • Knowledge of ATS and CRM platforms
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through and delivery
  • Five years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources or similar role, previous leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication; confident interacting with team members at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a strategic focus
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to background checks, I9 verification, and compliance
  • Experience working with pipeline development strategies including talent branding, internships programs and sourcing preferred


This is a remote position.


Salary Range


$86500.00 To $134000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
