Meetings/Event Sourcing Manager

We are seeking qualified and passionate professionals to join our Meeting/Event Sourcing team. Applicants must HAVE a minimum of 3 years of Sourcing Management Experience. Including but not limited to working in Cvent, Contract Negotiation, Request for Proposal (RFP) creation, Proposal reviews and presentations.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

- Submit RFP in Cvent or other platforms depending on the client, based on the program needs the meeting manager provides

- Participate in client and meeting manager qualifying/review calls, as needed

- Ensure client KPIs relating to sourcing & contracting are met, including the required cost saving percentage as outlined in the client work instructions

- Call and communicate with property sales teams to get all RFP questions answered as well as any necessary supporting documents

- Go on site and conduct a site search when necessary

- Compile RFP availability reports for meeting manager final review

- Provide professional input on destination based on knowledge and expertise

- Support the planner with any additional RFP requests

- Work with the VP of Sourcing and follow all AMI processes and procedures
