The American Feed Industry Association is hiring a director of meetings and events to lead a team of two other professionals to execute our meetings and events professionally, on budget, and with logistical precision.Travel is required several times a year.
This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to interact well with a variety of audiences and lead a top-notch team of two. The director of meetings and events serves as the liaison between organizers, contractors, and management with regard to all facets of the programs and events. The position requires frequent information-sharing and collaboration, flexibility, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priority projects independently.
AFIA is based in Arlington, Va. and currently offers a hybrid work environment (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).
