Job Description

The Assistant Client Success Manager will support the Client Success Manager with the overall strategic and operational responsibility for all programs managed on their specific accounts with a strict focus on meeting the financial projections of the channel. This includes managing employees and contract staff to success around all program initiatives. As the account manager, this position will provide leadership to the account including primary client point of contact from a business development perspective, and work with the Director of Organizational Development to implement new processes and systems to ensure consistency of program quality and customer satisfaction. In addition, this position will provide coordination for the AMI senior management team to keep them abreast of AMI operational opportunities and challenges. This position is also responsible for developing, implementing, and managing individual program budgets and meeting and exceeding program profit goals. The ACSM will cultivate and retain existing relationships with clients and identify new opportunities as they arise.




Responsibilities

· Develop a broad and deep knowledge of client and consistently work with the manager to identify process improvements

· Partner with manager and Training Manager to implement process improvements across the team

· Achieve and exceed annual budgeted projections for the book of business

· Maximize gross profit on each program

· Manage meetings, both live and virtual, for the named account(s)

· Review and approve charges and allocations to guarantee they are submitted in a timely manner

· Oversee the associated planner working budgets in MeetingSoft to ensure they are up to date with profit and revenue forecasting

· Review the Master Meeting List to confirm all financial figures are accurate and match MeetingSoft for AMI Financial Reporting

· Provide effective leadership by being a SME for our client and supporting the meeting management team

· Address organizational and staffing opportunities by providing feedback and coaching and identifying and escalating additional staffing needs

· Participate in the interviewing and onboarding of new team members

· Train new meeting managers through shadowing of the ACSM-assigned meetings

· Manage the team and client and maintain all client specific KPIs

· Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment through coaching

· Additional administrative and management tasks to be determined during the training and client on-boarding processes



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Sales and client outreach experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • 3-5 years of direct meeting management experience preferably with corporate events
  • Demonstrated ability to increase customer satisfaction
