WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst who will be responsible for supporting key aspects of our activities including budget management, vendor invoicing, event support, logistics and operational coordination, competitive analysis and email marketing. You will be reporting into the Director of Networks Marketing.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings.
- Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Bring the outside in: responsible for monitoring trends and uncovering innovative thinking and ideas from across categories and from the industry
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion.
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.
- Manage multi-million dollar budget which includes monitoring marketing spending and presenting monthly forecasts to Finance team.
- Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
- Manage vendor invoicing which includes reviewing invoices for accuracy against SOW and ensuring timely payment to vendors.
- Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
- Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management.
- Work closely with vendors to develop Scope of Work (SOW) documents and with Finance team to attain approval for budget.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university, preferably in Marketing or similar discipline
- 2-4 years of experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
- Review detailed product and marketing documents and materials as needed.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
- Have a solid understanding of budget management and marketing techniques.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
