WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Marketing Analyst/Coordinator who will be responsible for leading consumer electronics market analyses that result in actionable recommendations for competitive marketplace advantages. This function is tasked with enabling sales and marketing teams to position products to outsell competition. You will also provide strategic advice to senior management and manage strategic analytics projects.
You will be responsible for market analysis covering sales channel, competitors, products and industry, focusing on specific Mobile Division product categories, including Laptops, Chromebooks, and Tablets.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop Tableau dashboard to enable the Market Intelligence team to better present complex and highly relevant data to the target audience on a daily and weekly basis Market Analytics.
- Data Management
- Merge data from multiple information sources utilizing relationship-based associations.
- Analyze available data to triangulate competitor strategies based on observed activities and make actionable counter-recommendations to executive leadership.
- Support Market Intelligence functions with weekly industry and company sales analyses for New Computing product categories.
Required Experience and Education:
- Expert-level proficiency in Tableau and Microsoft Excel is required - Python proficiency highly desired.
- Previous experience developing relational databases utilizing Alteryx platform.
- 4+ years of experience in market/data analytics or data engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or engineering/Information Systems.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
- Team oriented, yet able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). Frequent interactions with Product Marketing and Executive teams to ensure complex data is presented in a cohesive and efficient manner.
- Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
