Job Description

Marketing Associate / Event Coordinator

Wicked Gluten Free is the premier gluten-free resource and expo organizer for New England and beyond.We are currently seeking a part-time Marketing Associate/Event Coordinator to provide social media & website support, as well as assistance in expo planning and execution.

·15-20 hours per week (Starting at 5hr/week and ramping up to 15-20 by end of August)

·Remote position, occasional travel required, no overnights except for expo weekends

·$18-$20/hr

Job Duties

·Assist in development of content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, interface with brands and influencers on all social media platforms

·Website maintenance - research, vet and update gluten-free dining directory & guides; process and upload listing requests

·Assist in planning and organization of large-scale consumer expos. Included but not limited to:

oReach out to potential exhibitors

oCreate name badges, design event guide, assemble and organize paper mailings, respond to exhibitor and attendee questions.

oWork in-person on the day before and the day of the expos. (Friday-Saturday)

Job Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree

·Knowledge of all social media platforms

·Proficient in Wordpress, Word, and Excel

·Organized, self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills

·Knowledge of celiac disease/gluten-free living a plus
