Lexion is looking for an Event Marketing Specialist who is highly organized and tenacious. Your eyes light up when you talk about project management and you might be guilty of over-communicating. You’re comfortable making adjustments on-the-fly, but are able to keep those changes to a minimum because of your to-the-minute event plan.
Maybe you have a background in B2B events, maybe you worked as an executive admin, or maybe you’re a caregiver with extraordinary attention to detail. Whatever your background, you are a proven owner and executor who is ready to dive in and get stuff done. You simultaneously love the agility of a startup and are compulsive about doing your work well.
More than anything, you want to bring your full, vibrant self to an exciting tech company, growing your knowledge and pushing your leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate travel accommodations for event attendees
- Regularly collect feedback in order to improve future events
- Ensure that the Lexion brand shows up consistently across venues and channels
- Partner with Legal Team, Sales Team, and external speakers to plan messaging and experience
- Maintain budget for events (formal accounting experience not necessary, but should be comfortable with using Excel and budgeting)
- Coordinate internal swag and customer gifts
- Travel to events as needed (likely once a quarter)
- Work closely with VP of Marketing and Head of Content Marketing to coordinate in-person and virtual events, including sponsorships, personnel, booth, swag, etc.
- Communicate with the sales team before and after events for smooth lead handoff
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills
- 3-5 years of professional work experience
- Ability and desire to work effectively from home
- Excellent communication and organization
Nice to haves
- Industry knowledge of LegalTech, Operations, or AI
- Familiarity with Zoom Webinars, Canva, HubSpot, Salesforce, Webflow, and other marketing-related systems
- Experience with online or in-person event planning, project management, executive calendar management, or administrative experience
(And a note to those of you who read this far and are worried you might not be qualified. Apply anyway. You might be just the person we're looking for.)
What we offer
- Work with world-class talent (ex Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, SurveyMonkey, The Allen Institute for AI)
- Make an impact and build category-defining products
- Base Salary range: $60,000-80,000 base salary plus bonus (will depend on years of relevant experience, skills, and location). If you’re earlier in your career in this role, then your compensation will be on the lower end of the range.
- A chance to be an early member of the team, with equity to match
- Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401k plan with contribution from Lexion
- A fast-paced, inclusive, and collaborative environment
- Unlimited PTO policy
This role reports to Rachel Cottam, Head of Content Marketing.
Job type: Full-time
Location: Remote (Preference given to WA, CA, AZ, MA, UT, TX, GA, PA and OR)
