JustinBradley’s client, a payment processing company, is looking for a Manager, Strategic Events, Center for Inclusive Growth in either their Purchase, NY, NYC, or Washington DC location. The Center for Inclusive Growth is the philanthropic hub for our client. We seek to ensure that the benefits of an expanding economy accrue to all segments of society. Through actionable research, data science, global programs and strategic influence, the Center addresses the dual challenges of income and information inequality in order to make the digital economy work for everyone, everywhere. The Center’s work is at the heart of our client’s objective to be a force for good in the world.
The Strategic Events Manager is responsible for coordinating key global engagements for our client and the global inclusive growth agenda, including the company’s engagements with international institutions and thought leaders. This person will lead on execution of the Center’s regional and global convenings, which bring together stakeholders from across sectors to advance strategies for inclusive growth.

We are looking for an energetic self-starter who is comfortable with the multifaceted skills this role entails, from negotiating agreements and forging consensus to connecting the dots across content, logistics, and production. The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of creative and organizational skills and thrive when managing all the details while thinking about the big picture.
Role:
- Provide operational excellence to our client’s delegations through seamless preparation, meticulous briefing processes, and liaising with VIPs
- Collaborate with the marketing, content and communications teams, and our engagement team to ensure consistent branding and messaging at all events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including corporate communications, digital marketing, meeting services, and executive offices
- Drive calendar, content, and operational structure for programming to ensure the Center’s participation and mission are aligned and maximized
- On-the-ground leadership of staff, vendors, and volunteers
- Contribute substantive inputs to the Global Inclusive Growth Summit and liaise with partners, speakers, participants, and vendors
- Working with the Strategic Partnerships team within the Center for Inclusive Growth, execute on global events strategy, delivering top-tier engagement at owned and partner events
- Manage internal stakeholders, coordinating closely with operations, finance, and compliance functions

- Strong relationship management and facilitation skills
- Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail
- Track record of developing and executing highly visible global engagements and events
- Skilled in using PowerPoint and Excel to present, organize, and track complex events-related information
- Strong writing and research skills, with ability to compile and draft documents in real time
- Technical knowledge of business, sustainability, and/or corporate philanthropy, including best practice in global events
- Exceptional diplomatic and organizational skills with comfort operating at the highest levels of diverse organizations and prior experience staffing principals
- Solution-oriented / problem solving approach and comfortable working independently
- Adept in an all-hands-on-deck environment, delivering highest levels of accountability
