Job Summary:
The Manager, Events & Meetings will be the point person for all client, vendor and internal meetings or external events. They will be the contact from the moment the event/meeting is booked through completion and responsible to insure the facilitation of the meetings are seamless and successful.
What You’ll Do

  • 5% Negotiate event contracts with caterers and other vendors
  • Trade Events
  • Other projects, as necessary
  • Vendor Events
  • 15% Manage Events Coordinator and direct Meeting Service Coordinators
  • Client Events
  • HGB Events
  • 10% Strategize ways to leverage live events to increase connection and community
  • Forecast for future events
  • 5% Manage onsite staffing for large events.
  • 10% Implement agency-wide best practices for event management
  • 15% Manage catering and events budget
    • Monitor and track all catering spending
    • Forecast for future events
  • New Business Pitches
  • Holiday Party
  • Industry Events
  • 40% Plan, manage and execute all large-scale events including but not limited to:
    • HR Events
    • Agency Events
    • Client Events
    • Summer Party
    • Holiday Party
    • Vendor Events
    • Industry Events
    • Trade Events
    • New Business Pitches
    • HGB Events
    • CEO Events
  • Summer Party
  • Monitor and track all catering spending

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This role directly manages the Events Coordinator but will also have a dotted line responsibility for directing our meeting services team

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 – 8 years relevant events/meetings experience

Salary Range
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
