The Whitby Hotel has a state-of-the-art screening room and three private event rooms that feature stunning design where the Events Account Manager is the first client contact, meets and exceeds expectations.

The Events Account Manager reports to the Head of Catering and Events and works on site to:

• Develop strong internal relationships, working closely with the Food & Beverage team including the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure standards are met.
• Deliver accuracy in documentation and communication to create successful meetings, events and catering, that exceed client expectations.
• Coordinate all aspects of event bookings from initial inquiries to post sales follow up.
• Bring laser focused attention to detail to ensure accuracy of BEOs and all internal and external information flow.

The Events Account Manager brings the following talent and experience to the role:

• Experience with Sales Force and Opera strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as an Events Account Manager (onsite), or similar position, in a luxury hotel, restaurant or catering company.
• A BA/ BS degree in hospitality, business a related field or a career path of internal growth in hospitality.
• Proven success in managing an outstanding product and guest experiences.
